Start Time: You can begin your safari at 6:00 AM, 10:00 AM, or 2:00 PM — the best times to see wildlife in action.

If your hotel is within 10 km of Udawalawe National Park, we’ll provide free pickup and drop-off. For guests staying farther away, we can help you arrange a comfortable taxi to reach the park easily.

Enjoy a peaceful ride to the park, feeling the cool morning breeze or the warm afternoon sunshine along the way. When you arrive, your passport and entry ticket will be checked before entering the park.

Your safari adventure begins as our 4×4 jeep slowly makes its way through the dirt tracks of Udawalawe. Soon you’ll start spotting elephants in the open fields, buffalo by the water, and deer running through the forest. Keep your eyes open for monkeys, rabbits, and colorful peacocks dancing in the sunlight. And if luck is on your side — you might even spot a leopard resting in the bushes.
